The Resume

    Born in United States
    Creator and founder of Jibbitz(2005)
    Appeared on 'Oprah'
    Resides in Boulder, Colorado

Why she might be annoying:

As if the invention of the synthetic material clog was bad enough, she went ahead and created charms for them!
She introduced her three daughters to the clogs and, soon enough, they became the only shoes the girls would wear.
Her Jibbitz brand eventually expanded into watchbands, purses, belts and hats.
The name 'Jibbitz' is as silly as the idea of accessorizing the crazy footwear.
Disney, Warner Bros., Peanuts, Marvel Comics and Nickelodeon have licensed their names to the company.

Why she might not be annoying:

One morning she stuck an artificial flower through the hole of one of her daughter's Crocs, then became hooked on finding more ways to decorate the ugly clog.
Later, she'd glue buttons, little happy faces, peace signs and hearts onto inexpensive cufflinks to convert them into Croc charms.
The girls would pass the charms to their Croc-wearing friends and classmates; soon enough, she formed a business from her home making and packaging the charms.
Within a year, over 3000 stores were carrying Jibbitz.
Crocs founder Duke Hanson spotted her 7-year old daughter wearing the Jibbitz, gave her his business card and told her to have her mother call him; eventually he bought the Jibbitz company for $10 million.
She earned an extra $10 million when the company reached its sales goals and remained on the company's executive board after the acquisition.
Her company has made charms in forms of awareness ribbons (pink for breast cancer; American flag colors for victims of 9-11).
She is a former stay-at-home mom turned successful entrepreneur.
