    Premise: The saga of two single parents who go out on a romance and the lives they affect with their relationship

Why Once and Again might be annoying:

    It was 'Brady Bunch' meets '7th Heaven.'
    The plot and premise made it look like it was more appropriate to air the show on the WB TV Network.
    Rick and Lily's relationship caused some of their inner circle (particularly some of their own children) to object to their fling.
    Despite being set in Chicago, Illinois, one episode accidentally showed several palm trees (since the show was filmed in Los Angeles, California).
    It seemed like ABC tried to kill the series with weird scheduling.
    The show often relied on black-and-white 'interview' sequences in which a character would reveal innermost thoughts and memories to the camera.

Why Once and Again might not be annoying:

    The show was created by the same team that made 'Thirtysomething.'
    It casts a number of famous faces.
    Ken Tucker praised the show for its 'depth and wit' by giving the series a grade' A.'
    Sela Ward won a Best Actress Emmy (2000).
