Why The Apprentice: UK might be annoying:

Adam Hosker, after being fired in the third series, claimed most of the participants are only interested in publicity and not the job offer.
Alan Sugar is very pompous constantly telling the participants that he knows everything.
They refer to Alan as Sir Alan.
The tasks are less prestigious than the American ones, primarily inexpensive jobs.
The participants are a lot less attractive than their American counterparts.
When the fired candidate gives their farewell speech in the taxi, the taxi only takes them around the block.
The second Apprentice, Michelle Dewberry, left the job after 6 months due to personal problems.
Candidate Jadine Johnson, who was marked not mentally fit (2003), was still selected as a participant on series 3.
The Daily Star reported the female participants were forced to shower together (April 13, 2007).
Also the Daily Star said Sugar occasionally re-films his rants so they look better for TV.
A chauffeur was arrested when he refused to explain why a number of lady handbags were found in his car (the female contestants he drove were in a meeting). The chauffeur stuck to the agreement that he could not reveal he was part of a TV series.
Former candidate Saira Khan revealed that the final two contestants work a few months for Sugar before he makes his televised final decision.
They film each candidate leaving the building as being fired during the first day of filming.

Why The Apprentice: UK might not be annoying:

Unlike the American version, words like fuck, cunt and shit are not censored.
See also: Apprentice, Apprentice 2, Apprentice 3, Apprentice 4, Apprentice 5, Apprentice 6 - Los Angeles and Apprentice - Martha Stewart
The show is a full 60 minutes with no commercial interruptions.
As opposed to the American version, the assistants (Nick Hewer and Margaret Mountford) are in every episode.
In the third series, a brilliant quantum physicist participated. She was the fifth fired.
The candidates are occasionally filmed in their underwear getting ready for the projects.
Each fired participant appears on a half-hour series called 'The Apprentice: You're Fired!'
