Why they might be annoying:

They are another one of the many bands from the So-Cal rock scene.
They're often labeled an 'emo' band.
Because there are two Alexes in the band - Alex Pappas and Alex Linares.
Randy likes to go by the name of R2K (what kind of dumb nickname is that?).
Three of the band members smoke and do drugs.
Alex and Randy are the only exceptions.
Nate tends to make weird faces when he's performing.
They're very vocal about their hatred for the band Disturbed.
When Alex was in his early teens, his grandfather took him to strip clubs.
Nate gets really short of breath at times when he's singing live.
Randy appeared in an educational film called 'Why Do We Need Math?' when he was 15.
    Alex is interested in Satanism.
When asked to rate his cow-milking skills, Pappas gave himself a 3 out of 10.
Nate stated that, back when the band started off as Numb, they were once a 'Deftones rip-off band.'
Later on, the band always dismissed this comment as a 'misunderstanding' whenever it is brought up by interviewers.
They often swear and make dirty jokes.
None of the members went to college after graduating from high school.

Why they might not be annoying:

    Their music is diverse.
Daryl Palumbo of GlassJaw appeared as a guest vocalist on 'Grey Matter' and 'Project Mayhem.'
Nate is very good at improvisational singing.
The band's music tastes range anywhere from Jimmy Eat World to the Beatles.
They like to hang out and chat with fans before a show.
Pappas used to live on a farm (which is where the cow-milking thing comes into play).
They put a lot of energy into their shows when performing.
In terms of vocals, Nate can stretch out from a soulful croon to a piercing scream.
They're not afraid to be themselves and goof off during interviews.
