The Resume

    (October 28, 1959- )
    Born in Indianapolis, Indiana
Shooting guard for the Atlanta Hawks (1983-88), Sacramento Kings (1988-89) and the Indiana Pacers (1989-92)
Head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers (1999-2002), Minnesota Timberwolves (2007-08) and the Washington Wizards

Why he might be annoying:

He went from being a productive player in Atlanta to a fringe player in both Sacramento and Indiana.
Despite the hype of his knowledge as an assistant coach, his head coaching career was a disappointment.
He went 38-105 as the Timberwolves head coach.
Some basketball pundits find his coaching style to be way too boring and predictable.
Prior to coaching the Wizards, his teams were notorious for being inconsistent and injury prone.

Why he might not be annoying:

As a senor in high school, he averaged 23+ points a game, which caught the eye of various college scouts.
He was a member of the Indiana Hoosiers team that captured the NCAA National Championship (1981).
He, along with Doc Rivers and Spud Webb, gave the Hawks a formidable backcourt during the mid 1980's.
He signed with his hometown Pacers, and was able to retire from active play as a member of the team.
He guided the Wizards to their first playoff berth in eight years (2014).
