Why he might be annoying:

He lost his virginity at 13.
He abuses alcohol.
He smokes cigarettes and took speed.
He is a close friend of Ozzy Osbourne.
'Motorhead' is a slang word for a person addicted to speed, and since Lemmy uses speed, he named the band after his deadly habit.
He has two moles on his face.
He was kicked out of his old band, Hawkwind, for his addiction to speed.
He says he is never going to retire, and that he is going to work until he dies.

Why he might not be annoying:

Motörhead is known as one of the most influential metal bands ever (they were one of the influences of Metallica).
Despite being a heavy drug and alcohol user, he is in his late 50's and still seems healthy.
While Motörhead may be a metal band, Lemmy has done sensitive ballads (i.e. '1916').
He has not driven a vehicle since 1966 (a good thing, too, since he's an alcoholic!).
Despite getting sick of some songs, he plays them anyway.
