CBS pushed the premiere date from March 9 to March 23 so it could run promos during the NCAA's March Madness basketball tournament.
It feels like the American version of 'The Graham Norton Show.'
You could also say it is a British ripoff of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'
The show heavily relies on pre-taped skits due to Corden not being a 'stand-up comic.'
Two words: CARPOOL KARAOKE!
Corden seems to gush at all of his nightly guests like a little excited fangirl.
One recurring game featured on the show involves asking himself and one of his celebrity guests to either answer embarrassing questions or eat disgusting things such as small insects.

Tom Hanks and Mila Kunis were his first guests.
The opening sequence was reportedly directed by film director and television producer J.J. Abrams.
In reviewing the premiere episode, television critic Mary McNamara of the Los Angeles Times noted ,'It was an undeniably endearing, energetic and star-studded hour of television.'
Corden has managed to get a variety of singers from Paul McCartney to Lady GaGa to perform with him for Carpool Karaoke.
The Carpool Karaoke segment was so popular, it spawned a series of primetime specials that garnered Emmy Awards.
