Why he might not be annoying
Chinese media described his look as ‘The face that launched 1,000 clicks.'
His unusual claim to fame made him an unlikely pop culture icon.
His favorite doctored image was his face being superimposed on Russell Crowe's Gladiator movie ad.
When he told the press that his favorite actor is Jim Carrey, China's ‘netizens' started superimposing his face on various Jim Carrey movie ads such as ‘Bruce Almighty' and ‘Dumb & Dumber,' replacing the title with ‘Fat & Fatter.'
At first, he was hurt by the attention his photo received but eventually learned to enjoy his celebrity status.
