The Simpson defense team were successful in deflecting the focus towards his ‘questionable’ character.
He may have been involved with an underground police society known as ‘Men Against Women.’
He wrote a book on Terri Schiavo at the urging of political pundit Sean Hannity (2005).
Why he might not be annoying
He served as a sergeant in the Marine Corps.
He earned dozens of commendations during his twenty year career with the LAPD.
His book ‘Murder In Brentwood’ was a New York Times #1 bestseller.
As a private investigator, he played a key role in solving Martha Moxley’s murder case.
