She has been accused of being part of a conspiracy to criminalize homeless people and has been labeled 'anti-homeless.'

Why she might not be annoying:

She is the first black woman to be elected mayor of any major city of the South.
When in office she created efforts to fix the city’s sewer system.
There were rumors of her being one of a number of women running for president in 2008 along with Hillary Rodham Clinton and Condoleezza Rice.
