Why he might be annoying:

He has 'GOAT' (Greatest Of All Time) tattooed on his arm.
He appeared on the reality show 'Blind Date.'
When he was a 'stranger' on Identity, the contestant, a self-proclaimed track and field fan, identified him as Marion Jones.
Mexican discus thrower Angel Heredia claimed that Greene paid him $10,000 for performance-enhancing drugs (2008).
He admitted to meeting Heredia and paying the $10,000, but claimed 'I would often pay for stuff' for track club teammates 'and not care what it was.'
He then claimed that he had been misquoted.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the first person to win the 100-meter and 200-meter titles at the World Championships (1999).
He was the first athlete to record more than 50 times under 10 seconds in the 100 meters.
He came back to medal at the Athens Olympics despite suffering a broken leg when his motorcycle was sideswiped by a car (January, 2002).
He said a lifetime ban should be imposed the first time an athlete fails a drug test.
