Why he might be annoying
He said he wept with joy when Donald Trump was elected, then later became one of his more outspoken critics.
He did not start publicly criticizing Trump until after he was passed over for the post of Solicitor General, making you wonder to what degree sour grapes are motivating him.
He got into a high-profile exchange of insults with Trump on Twitter. (Trump on Conway: ‘Husband from hell,’ ‘Total loser.’ Conway on Trump: ‘You. Are. Nuts.’)
He claimed he tweets about Trump to ‘get it off my chest and move on.’ (Yeah, getting into a public argument with a guy who has continued his feud with John McCain after the Senator’s death is a great way to put it all behind you.)
Given his public feuding with his wife’s boss, one suspects there have been some rather awkward moments in that marriage.
Why he might not be annoying
He is half Filipino on his mother’s side.
He was an editor of the Yale Law Journal.
In a 2006 letter thanking him for his assistance in dealing with a condo board at Trump World Tower, Donald Trump observed, ‘You have a truly great voice, certainly not a bad asset for a top trial lawyer.’
Kellyanne said about his feud with Trump, ‘I’m not being asked to choose between my marriage and my job.’
