    Born in Oak Park, Illinois
    Son of Frank Lloyd Wright
    Architect and toy designer
    Designed the Hoover-Timme House (1929), Arcades Cabin Hotel (1930), John and Isabel Burnham House (1934) and George and Adele Jaworowski House (1946)
    Invented Lincoln Logs (patented in 1920)
    Wrote a biography about Frank Lloyd Wright, ‘My Father Who Is On Earth’ (1946)

Why he might be annoying:

    He dropped out of the University of Wisconsin.
    His own architectural designs tended to be derivative of his father’s.
    He was married three times, divorced twice.
    He left his second wife for one of his clients.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He worked as an assistant to his father for several years, but left over his father’s frequent failure to pay him a salary.
    Most of his records and designs were destroyed in a house fire after his car caught fire in his garage (1939).
    Lincoln Logs were one of the original inductees of the National Toy Hall of Fame (1999).
