Why she might be annoying:

She made her film debut at age seven.
She only made one Hollywood movie, the crime film 'Cairo' (1963).
Her ex-husband Ezzen Dean directed her and new husband Omar Sharif as lovers in the film 'The River of Love' (1961), which must have produced some awkward moments on set.
Her marriage to Sharif broke up over his Hollywood success.

Why she might not be annoying:

In her first film, she so impressed the director and producer that she was given additional lines.
She used her film roles to convey a political message, with 'I Want a Solution' leading to a change in Egyptian law, allowing women to initiate divorces (1975).
Sharif said she was the one love of his life.
President Gamel Abdel Nasser called her 'a national treasure.'
She was named 'Star of the Century' by the Egyptian Writers and Critics Association (2000).
