Why he might be annoying
He is a high school dropout.
He named one of his sons Cherub, whom he fathered with his girlfriend.
He used to be clean cut but later grew his hair long.
His singing voice sounding exactly like Steve Perry's led some people to initially believe he was lip-synching.
Why he might not be annoying
He was 12 when his mother died of a serious illness.
He dropped out of school to collect bottles, scrap metal and newspaper to help support his dad and his two brothers.
He named Aerosmith, Freddie Mercury, Deep Purple , U2, Little River Band and Journey as his musical influences.
He was discovered by accident as Journey guitarist Neal Schon was surfing through YouTube, then ran into a clip of The Zoo covering a Journey song; through the website, Schon contacted the band.
He thought he was being pranked when he received the email from Schon but later replied; ten minutes later, he received a call from Schon. Schon quickly arranged an audition.
After auditioning, he became the new lead singer of Journey (2007) and toured with the band receiving warm reception from the fans. (Steve who?)
He found international fame as the lead singer of Journey at the age of 41.
He funded his brother's university education.
