She convinced several sponsors, including Proctor & Gamble and McDonald's, to withdraw their ads from the show.
Because of her crusade, Fox decided not to air an episode in which the Rhodes and Bundys discover that a sleazy hotel taped both couples having sex.
She later set her sights on Howard Stern.

Why she might not be annoying:

Her campaign generated so much publicity, the show gained viewers.
The producers sent her a thank you note and a fruit basket every Christmas.
In a later episode, Marcy tells the Bundys that a TV show based on them had been canceled because 'some woman in Michigan didn't like it.'
