Why they might be annoying:

The ‘Three 6' part of their name is in reference to the number 666 and the band's name simply means devil's mafia.
They have a song that is titled, ‘Let's Plan a Robbery.'
On their 2003 album ‘'Da Unbreakables,' they collaborated with Hank Williams Jr. and Lil' Flip.
They rap about violence, strippers, and drugs.
They write really controversial lyrics. One example of this was in their song ‘Knock the Black off Yo Ass,' where they made references as if they were the Washington D.C. sniper.
They've started a rap feud with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.

Why they might not be annoying:

They beat out that singing skeleton, Dolly Parton for the Academy Award for Best Song (March 5, 2006).
They were the first hip hop group to ever win an Academy Award.
They were extremely successful underground rappers before breaking onto the national scene.
They've drawn comparisons to the Wu-Tang Clan.
