Why she might be annoying:

A New York Times journalist referred to her high-society upbringing as ‘perfectly perfect.’
She has three biological sons – from her ten-year second marriage – and three stepdaughters.
Her company medallion, with an upside-down T on top of a right-side-up T, looks like a stereotypical wagon-train symbol.
She loves skiing and tennis (the latter from where she was nicknamed Mighty Mouse for her serve).
Gossip Girl fans love her frequently-featured outfits.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was not formally trained in design.
She worked in public relations for Ralph Lauren and Vera Wang.
Her mother Reva was the namesake for her iconic ballerina flats.
TRB was an immediate success, with its flagship shop – in a Manhattan neighborhood – being nearly sold out on opening day (it was endorsed by Oprah Winfrey in April 2005).
Her apparel does not discriminate on the basis of class or age range.
