Drafted 1st overall by the Colorado Rockies in the 1979 NHL Entry Draft
Defenseman for the Colorado Rockies (1979-82), St. Louis Blues (1982-88), Calgary Flames (1988-89), Toronto Maple Leafs (1989-91), Minnesota North Stars (1991-92), Tampa Bay Lightning (1992-93), Montreal Canadiens (1993-94) and the Philadelphia Flyers (1994)

Why he might be annoying:

He was a journeyman player.
He is the only first overall pick in the history of the NHL Entry Draft to be drafted out of the World Hockey Association (WHA).
He was a spare parts player on both the Stanley Cup championship teams of which he was a member.
His gaffe caused Billy Smith to be credited with being the first goalie in NHL history to score a goal.
He was driving the vehicle that was involved a head on car crash which killed former NHL player Keith Magnuson (December 2003).
He was charged with four counts of impaired and dangerous driving causing death and bodily harm, along with a blood alcohol over the legal limit (October 10, 2007).
He lost his bid for a new trial (July 12, 2010).

He was involved in the trade that sent a little known Brett Hull to the St. Louis Blues.
