The Resume

    (April 7, 1944-January 1, 2002)
    Born in Manhattan, New York
    Birth name was Julia Miller
Produced 'The Sting' (1973), 'Taxi Driver' (1976), 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' (1977) and 'Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead' (1991)

Why she might be annoying:

Her husband/co-producer Michael Phillips commented, 'She took sole credit for everything because her view was that she was the center of the universe.'
She said, 'I don't blame anyone for my drug addiction. But it occurred to me that maybe I wasn't the only one to blame.' (Well, which one is it?)
'You'll Never Eat Lunch' included plenty of catty comments about other people's looks.

Why she might not be annoying:

She won several creative writing prizes at Mount Holyoke College.
She was the first woman to produce the winner of the Oscar for Best Picture.
Accepting the Oscar for 'The Sting' she said, 'You can't imagine what a thrill it is for a nice Jewish girl from Great Neck to win an Academy Award and meet Elizabeth Taylor in the same night.'
