He couldn't handle the pressure of playing in Toronto.
He was frequently a target for trade rumours during his stint with the Leafs.
He was despised by some Leaf fans who felt he was way too inconsistent playing in his own zone.
He likes playing golf during his spare time.

He was considered a highly touted prospect during his tenure with Kelowna of the Western Hockey League.
He earned All-Rookie Team honors during his first season with the Leafs (2009).
Prior to his trade to Philadelphia, he was considered one of the building blocks in the Leafs rebuilding process.
His trade to Philadelphia allowed him to play alongside his brother, Brayden at the NHL level.
During his stint with the Leafs, he started 'Luke's Troops' which allowed military personnel and their families to attend a home game as his guest.
