The Resume

    (December 7, 1958-April 20, 1999)
    Birth name is Richard Rood
Wrestled for the WWE and WCW
Commented and managed for WCW and ECW
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion and WCW U.S. Champion
    Known as 'Ravishing' Rick Rude

Why he might be annoying:

As close as he got, he could never win a Heavyweight Title in one of the bigger wrestling companies.
His promos in the WWE would always begin with: ‘What I'd like to have right now, is for all you fat, out-of-shape, (insert the city he was wrestling in here) sweathogs, to keep the noise down, and take a look at what a real man is supposed to look like.'
The WWE packaged him in a stripper-type role, with his theme music being a version of ‘The Stripper.'
During his reign as NWA Tag Team Champion with Manny Fernandez, he left the company for the WWE without giving notice or dropping the titles.
While working for ECW, he appeared on WWE TV and when he next appeared in front of an ECW audience, the crowd yelled, ‘YOU SOLD OUT, YOU SOLD OUT, YOU SOLD OUT!'
While working for the WWE as part of the original Degeneration-X, he appeared live on WCW's TV show on the same night the WWE was airing a new taped segment of his. Due to that incident, the WWE didn't cover his death when it happened.
He died from a heart attack that was caused by an overdose of painkillers.

Why he might not be annoying:

Many claim him to be the greatest wrestler to never hold a Heavyweight Title in one of the big companies.
He had one of the best bodies in wrestling and he was often considered by the ladies to be the sexiest man in wrestling.
He was a legitimate tough guy and could knock somebody out with an open-handed slap. When he started out in wrestling, he would live in his car to save money.
He borrowed money from his friends to pay for his training and eventually paid them back when he became a big player in the business.
He was the top heel in wrestling in the early 90's and was voted Most Hated Wrestler of the Year in 1992.
He was the first man to hand The Ultimate Warrior his first pinfall loss in the WWE.
He was a founding member of Degeneration-X.
He's the only man to be a member of Degeneration-X, the NWO and The Triple Threat, the top stables in the WWE, WCW and ECW, respectively.
He retired as a wrestler after breaking his back in a match against Sting.
