    Former NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion, NWA International Junior Heavyweight Champion, WWWF Junior Heavyweight Champion and holder of several regional titles
    Co-owner of the defunct UWF promotion in Japan
    Author of 'Kayfabe'

Why he might be annoying:

    He dropped out of school at 17.
    His character traits are from a Japanese comic book.
    He is not unique in that there have been a number of Tiger Mask wrestlers. There was even a female version.
    He won the WWF Junior Heavyweight Championship, which is a rarely spoken about title.
    He co-owned the unsuccessful UWF with Akira Maeda.
    As a wrestler in UWF he had his mask removed, which did not go well with the fans.
    He retired from wrestling and then returned.
    He wrestles in low budget Japanese Indy federations.
    He gain a lot of weight ballooning up to 250 pounds.
    His book, 'Kayfabe,' exposed many wrestling falsehoods.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Originally he was quite unique blending puroresu, lucha libre, submission wrestling and martial arts
    He did wrestling moves such as moonsaults and hurricanradas, decades before it became common place.
    He was a pioneer of high flying wrestling maneuvers.
    Some wrestling fans believe he revolutionized lightweight wrestling.
    He was the first to hold a WWF and NWA title at the same time.
    He is a member of the Wrestling-Observer Hall of Fame.
