(September 7, 1900-March 20, 1933)
Attempted to assassinate president-elect Franklin Roosevelt in Miami (February 15, 1933)
Murdered Chicago mayor Anton Cermak during the attempt
Tried and convicted of first-degree murder (March 1933)
Put to death in the electric chair (March 20, 1933)

Why he might be annoying:

He blamed Franklin Roosevelt for all of his problems, even though Roosevelt was only a president-elect.
He pulled out a .32 pistol during one of Roosevelt's trips to Florida and began firing.
The bullets missed their target but hit five bystanders, including Chicago mayor Anton Cermak.
Mayor Cermak later died of his wound.
One of the last things he said before being electrocuted was a complaint that nobody was there to take his picture.
He was unrepentant for his crime to the end.

Why he might not be annoying:

His mother died when he was only two.
He lived under impoverished conditions as a child.
He was unable to find any work during the Great Depression.
He became a U.S. citizen (1929).
