Why he might be annoying:

    He risked his life for fame.
    He was featured on 'Ripley's Believe It or Not.'
    He and Petkovich sustained minor injuries.
    He and Geoffrey Petkovich were the 11th and 12th persons to plunge the Falls.
    They were enclosed face to face, nearly nose to nose.
    His first partner backed out at the very last minute.
    The fancy, decked out barrel read 'Don't Put Yourself On The Edge - Drugs Kill!'
    They had a second plunge in a giant yellow styrofoam ball planned.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He partnered in the same barrel with Geoffrey Petkovich.
    He and Petkovich are one of two pairs that partnered to descend the Falls.
    They were the first team to go over the Falls.
    He spent one thousand five hundred to construct his barrel and attempt to make it safe.
    He met Geoffrey Petkovich at the last minute when another friend backed out. They spontaneously teamed up.
    New York State Parks Police discovered the ball in a truck, pulled them over and prevented their second plunge.
