Came to national attention after getting caught using spit to style his hair while reporting live from Eastern Syria (March 2019)
Why he might be annoying
He was accused of trying to bait Jordan Peterson during a contentious NBC Nightly News interview by asking him point blank, 'Are you a radical right winger?'
The segment he was appearing on for the Ali Velshi Show randomly cut to him spitting his palm over audio of the host's voice, clearly unaware that he was on-air.
The 'spitting' clip went viral and was widely mocked on social media, with one comment reading 'THIS JUST HAPPENED LIVE!!!'
The hair flub received more attention on social media than the actual news segment itself - which revealed on-the-ground sources in Syria directly contradicting President Trump's claim that the ISIS Caliphate had been 'absolutely obliterated.'
Why he might not be annoying
He is fluent in French.
During his time with the Wall Street Journal, he reported from Egypt and Jordan.
He physically resembles another famous Bradley - Bradley Cooper.
He has reported from some of the most dangerous war zones in the world.
Let's not cast stones here - who among us HASN'T resorted to expectorating when hair care products are nowhere to be found (which presumably - in a war zone - would be the case here)?
He responded to the social media jokes about his 'spitting' by retweeting the original video with the hash tag #WarisHell on his Twitter profile.
