Why Survivor 9: Vanuatu might be annoying
It started off with a pointless Vanuatuan ceremony honoring the men while excluding the women.
During that ceremony, Brady accepted a challenge to climb a wooden pole and snatch a stone that had no value at all in the game.
The tribes were originally men (Lopevi) vs. women (Yasur).
They introduced the occasional 'Double Tribal Council' episode, where one from each tribe would be voted out the same night, in this cycle.
It featured two Johns in the same game.
They had to put up with Ami and Leann's bossiness.
It featured a 'Fat Five' alliance of men.
Why Survivor 9: Vanuatu might not be annoying
It allowed 18 castaways on for the first time in a non-All Star cycle.
There was an earthquake in Vanuatu during the taping of one episode.
Chad became the first castaway ever with an artificial limb.
Outnumbered by the women (original Yasurs) 6-1, Chris mounted the greatest comeback in the show's history, winning the title of Sole Survivor.
It featured a butch lesbian (Scout) and a lipstick lesbian (Ami).
