The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

His tenure with the Blue Jays lasted three games.
He was traded to the Braves for virtually nothing.
He primarily served as a backup for the majority of his major league career.
His career was defined primarily by one moment.
He shares his name with a professional cyclist.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is credited with being instrumental in the Braves rise to relevancy during the 1990's.
He hit a three-run home run off Rob Dibble, that sparked the Braves second-half surge and the eventual World Series appearance (1991).
He followed it up the following year, by hitting the line drive that led to the classic Sid Bream at the plate play in the NLCS (1992).
He said he didn't feel any pressure as a result of the fact he was a backup and was primarily used in a reserve role.
He is considered a legend by Braves fans, despite the fact he had a limited role with the team.
