The Resume

    (circa December 1989- )
    Born in United States
    Resided in Watauga, Texas
Was videotaped assisting his five and two year old nephews to smoke marijuana (February 2007)
Was arrested and held on $150,000 bail for child injury after recording was viewed by authorities (February 23, 2007)

Why he might be annoying:

While in a position of trust and authority, he encouraged his nephews to take part in a dangerous and criminal activity.
Due to his age, he could not be charged with more serious felonies.
He also allowed the actions involving his nephews to be recorded for entertainment.
The video footage which showed him and his nephews smoking marijuana was discovered among camera equipment after police executed a search warrant for stolen items at his home.
His nephews appeared to be high in the video footage while he and others in the room acted amused at them.
Authorities suspected prior incidents of him giving marijuana to his nephews due to their behavior in the footage.
He justified his actions, claiming that eventually his nephews would smoke marijuana on their own accord.
He accused the media of exaggerating the unusual and criminal circumstances regarding his actions.
In an interview he claimed differences in marijuana versus other substances despite all of them being illegal.

Why he might not be annoying:

He claimed he was raised in a dysfunctional family with frequently absent parents.
He claimed that his nephews could not smoke marijuana correctly enough to be high in the video footage.
Several other people present in the room during the recording were not charged with an offense, including the camera operator.
He stated his regret for involving his nephews in his behavior and violating the trust of their mother, who was in another room ill during the incident.
He stated his desire to become a more responsible parent to his daughter and to advance his education.
He denied having a marijuana addiction, stating 'I smoke weed, weed doesn't smoke me.'
His family suggested that rehabilitation instead of imprisonment for his behavior would better benefit him.
