After being passed over for a late game rushing attempt, he accused his coach Mike Holmgren of 'stabbing him in the back' by denying him an opportunity to win the rushing title, after finishing one yard behind the Curtis Martin.
He held out with the Seahawks for more money in 2005.
He turned down a $6.32 million dollar contract.

His wife, Valerie appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
