Having been dead at least four days, he probably smelled pretty ripe.
According to the Bible, his resurrection was the last straw that led officials to seek Jesus' death.
Legend has it he was spooky and humorless after coming back.
Some claim there are secret documents proving he never died in the first place.
One controversial academic suggested he and Jesus were gay lovers.
He reportedly had a sweet tooth.
Most, if not all, of his story is probably false.

Why he might not be annoying:

His name means ‘God has helped' (understatement of the millennium).
His family was friends with Jesus.
Jesus felt so bad for his family after he died that he allegedly brought him back to life.
He reportedly became a bishop.
He is mentioned in lot of gospel songs and spirituals.
He inspired a character portrayed by Coolio on ‘Charmed.'
