She was sexually assaulted by Harvey Weinstein, in 2015, while reviewing her portfolio. She reported him to police the next day.
She was on the receiving end of negative coverage smear campaign from tabloid magazines after coming out against Weinstein.
Her modeling career was rendered stagnant after her speaking out, receiving virtually no offers as a result.
The public release of the audio between herself and Weinstein, in 2017, played a major role in shifting attention towards the sexual misconduct allegations against him.
