The Resume

    (circa 1985- )
    Birth name was Ali Akbar
    Founded Stop the Steal (2020)

Why he might be annoying:

He pleaded guilty to felony property theft (2007) and felony credit card abuse (2008).
As a staffer for John McCain’s presidential campaign, he was reprimanded for discussing opportunities for committing voter fraud during the Republican primaries (2007).
He claimed, ‘Jewish people do hate crimes against their own communities to get press.’
He was suspended from Twitter for a day after threatening Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: ‘I would *literally* put you down if you came near me, Marxist. I would call 911 to come retrieve your body.’ (2019)
He tweeted a bizarre rant that Kamala Harris is ‘not an American Black. Period.’ (2019)
He promoted groundless allegations that Ilhan Omar married her brother so he could become a US citizen.
He started wearing orange clothing, claiming God had told him ‘orange would be the color of 2020.’
He promoted baseless conspiracy theories about Joe Biden having been elected via massive election fraud.
The ‘Donate’ button on the Stop the Steal website sent contributions directly to his personal accounts, including PayPal and Amazon WishList.
He tweeted about overturning the election ’I am willing to give my life for this fight.’ (December 7, 2020)
The Arizona GOP retweeted his statement, adding ‘He is. Are you?’
The night before Congress met to certify the Electoral College results, he led Trump supporters in a series of ‘Victory or death!’ chants (January 5. 2021).
When Trump supporters stormed the Capitol the next day, he tweeted, ‘I don’t disavow this. I do not denounce this.’
The day after the riots, he insisted, ‘I didn’t incite anything. I didn’t do anything.’
He went into hiding, while hitting up supporters for $2,000 a day that he claimed to need for a security detail. (Hey, what happened to giving your life for this fight?)
He also made the claim, ‘Witches and wiccans are putting hexes and curses on us.’

Why he might not be annoying:

He was invited to the White House for a ‘social media summit.’ (2019)
For some reason, Jack Dorsey thought he would be a good source to consult on whether Alex Jones should be banned from Twitter.
Dorsey explained, ‘I was introduced to him by a friend, and you know, he’s got interesting points.’ (‘Interesting’ seems like quite the understatement.)
He separated fools from their money.
