The Resume

Why Whose Line is it Anyway? (U.K.) might be annoying:

The pilot episode is the worst of the entire series (how did the show get picked up?).
The first season was very shaky.
For most of the early seasons the cast was predominantly British.
The first minority cast member appeared in 1997 (Karen Maruyama) and the first black person appeared in 1998 (Phil LaMarr) almost 10 years after the show began.

Why Whose Line is it Anyway? (U.K.) might not be annoying:

It is superior to its American successor.
Clive Anderson has become a very comfortable host.
The UK version contained a wider variety of games and the role playing.
The larger variety of cast allows for more unique partnerships to develop.
Many performers used the program to advance their careers.
It enjoys commercial and critical success.
