Why he might be annoying
He was missing his two front teeth.
He is a neo conservative.
He is a private person that has made it very clear that he doesn't want to be disturbed by the media.
As an Ohio native, his dream as a child was to play for the Steelers' biggest rival, the Cleveland Browns.
He talked a lot of trash to opponents.
Why he might not be annoying
He backed up everything he ever said.
He is probably the most intimidating linebacker ever.
In his Hall of Fame speech, he said ‘If I could start my life all over again, I would be a professional football player, and you damn well better believe I would be a Pittsburgh Steeler.'
He has been called ‘The ultimate Steeler.'
He proved many a scout and personnel wrong that thought he was too small to play linebacker in the pros.
He said: ‘The Steelers drafted guys who were bigger, stronger and faster than I, but they never found one who could take my job away from me.'
It is said that Ray Lewis, one of the most studious players of the game ever, watches more game film of Lambert than of anyone.
He doesn't need the limelight.
His career was cut short by a toe injury.
