Why he might be annoying:

He was released by the Montreal Alouettes for failure to meet the minimum behavioral standards expected by the team. (May 2003)
After he was released by Montreal his agent Andy Silverman dumped him. (2003)
He walked out on the Montreal Alouettes during the mid-season because he wanted a raise. (2002)
He also walked out on the Florida Bobcats, but without telling anybody. (2001)
He was arrested for domestic violence (2000).
He was released by the Miami Dolphins after being arrested for hitting a woman at a Florida nightclub when she refused to dance with him (1998).
He was released by the San Francisco 49ers after missing practice (1999).
He was release by St. Louis for insubordination (1997).
He was arrested for drunk driving (1997).
When he played for Nebraska he pulled his ex-girlfriend out of her bed and dragged her down three flights of stairs by her hair (1995).
He was kicked off the Nebraska football team after the ex-girlfriend abuse incident (1995).
He was arrested for driving into three teenagers after a touch football game. The car he drove, was a stolen vehicle (August 21, 2005).
He died of an apparent suicide in his prison cell while awaiting trial for the alleged murder of his prison cell mate.

Why he might not be annoying:

He received so many chances to play the game he loves.
When he played for the NFL-Europe's Barcelona Dragons he was the league's offensive MVP.
He was a star player on Nebraska - helping them win two championships in the mid 90’s.
