Why he might be annoying:

He has an unusual sense of humor.
He wears strange clothes (like performing in an orange astronaut suit).
The first time he picked up a guitar he quit shortly thereafter because he said ‘it was too hard.'
He seems to be infatuated with Japan.
He angered many guitar fans when he started doing very pop-sounding solo work after ‘Mr. Big.'
He records instructional guitar videos that are too hard to use for basically anyone.
With his long, slender body frame and tremendously long fingers many people are under the false impression he's Buckethead.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's widely renowned as being one of the best guitar players.
He has owned at times over 100 guitars.
He plays a Paul McCartney style of guitar on occasion.
His style of play has a lot of melody do it unlike some other shredders.
He created and maintains his own website.
