Oddity

The Resume

    (2015- )
    Born in Wallingford, Iowa
    Third-Party 2016 Presidential candidate
Satirical 'politician' created by 15-year old Brady C. Olson
Namesake is a popular 90’s Dr. Dre rap song
Formally filed with the Federal Election Commission to run for President (Jul. 26, 2015)
Polled between 8-9 percentage points in Public Policy Polls conducted in Iowa, North Carolina, and Minnesota, drawing national attention
Ruled as not meeting the minimum age requirement of 35 years at the time of inauguration to be able to serve as president following the 2016 elections (Aug. 2015)
Endorsed Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination, and Ohio Governor John Kasich for the Republican nomination (Aug. 20, 2015)

Why Deez Nuts (Politician) might be annoying:

He snagged the coveted endorsement of Jimmy 'Rent is Too Damn High' McMillan .
He is a sign that a portion of the American electorate have lost contact with their last vestige of sanity.
Although 'fake candidates with suggestive names' isn't anything new, his viral popularity inspired a crap-load of imitators.
He inspired any number of obscene or cheeky campaign slogan ('Make America Nuts Again,' 'America Has Balls Again,' etc.)
The campaign inspired an onslaught of sexually explicit merchandise, often depicting male testes (T-shirts, buttons, bumper stickers, underwear, etc.)
He is yet one more candidate who wants to crack down on Illegal Immigration but doesn't have a comprehensive plan to do it.
He reached out to fellow 'joke presidential candidate,' Kentucky's own Limberbutt McCubbins the Cat, for a possible Nuts/McCubbins ticket, but McCubbins was reportedly noncommittal (however, Deez Nuts IS receptive to a McCubbins/Nuts ticket).

Why Deez Nuts (Politician) might not be annoying:

    He's a libertarian.
He was created by Olson with the intention of upsetting the two-party system.
He has put up some of the best third-party candidate numbers in the last two decades.
He received the blessing of Mr. 'Deez Nuts' himself, Warren G.. who endorsed him.
His platform is actually more appealing than over half of the Presidential field, of either party.
He trended on social media to the point where the name 'Deez Nuts' was Googled more times than Hillary Clinton.
He proves the old saying that polls are only for cross country skiers and strippers (in other words, PPP is crap).
He also proves that you can call a Third-Party candidate anything and they could potentially 'get 7% to 8%.'
