    Attended Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi
    Head coach for the University of Mississippi Women's Basketball Team (1978-1997), Houston Comets (1997-2007) and the Louisiana State University Women's Basketball Team (2007- )
    Three time WNBA Coach of the Year (1997-1999)
    Inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame (2007)

    He coached for a team that made the WNBA uncompetitive in the early years of the league.
    His Comet playoff team's productivity declined after the 2000 season.

    He was selected as the coach of the WNBA's All-Decade Team (2006).
    He left the Comets as the winningest head coach in WNBA history.
