Biblical Character

The Resume

    Married to Uriah the Hittite
Attracted the notice of King David while bathing on the roof of her house
Married David after the death of her husband
    Mother of King Solomon

Why she might be annoying:

You live next door to the palace and just happen to do your bathing on the roof?
After David got her pregnant, he sent her husband to the front lines to be killed.
Nathan the prophet said David's house would be cursed by turmoil as punishment for Uriah's death.
The rebellion led by David's favorite son, Absalom, was considered fulfillment of the curse.
She convinced David to name her son Solomon as his successor rather than his oldest son, Adonijiah.

Why she might not be annoying:

To be fair, the Bible never says that she knew David was watching her.
Her first child with David died a few days after birth.
Her bath was a popular subject for medieval artists who wanted to paint female nudes while staying safely Biblical.
