    Daughter of baseball legend Babe Ruth and mistress Juanita Jennings
    Co-authored the 1988 book 'My Dad, the Babe: Growing up with an American Hero,' published on the 40th anniversary of his death
    Died in Durham, Connecticut at age 68

Why she might be annoying:

    She bore a striking resemblance to her father.
    She believed her real mother was Helen Ruth and Jennings was just a 'friend of the family.'
    Her first marriage in 1940 ended in divorce five years later.
    She was involved in a trademark lawsuit against Macmillan Incorporated over the use of Babe Ruth's likeness.

Why she might not be annoying:

    Her father doted on her and took her to many Yankees games.
    Her adoptive mother died in a house fire when she was just seven years old.
    She did not learn that Jennings was her real mother until 1980 when she was 59 years old.
    She raised Arabian horses on her Connecticut ranch.
    Her book was a first hand account of growing up with a famous baseball father, warts and all.
