The Resume

    (July 5, 1983- )
    Born in Englewood, New Jersey
Guard for the St. Louis Rams (2005-09), Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins
Drafted with the 83rd pick in the third round in the 2005 NFL Draft
Indefinitely suspended by the NFL for alleged harassment of teammate Jonathan Martin (October 31, 2013)

Why he might be annoying:

Throughout his career, he showed chronic behavioral problems.
He was accused of spitting on a Troy State player while playing in a game for the University of Nebraska Huskers.
He got into a fight during practice which resulted in him being suspended for a short time.
He was involved in a fight at a party and was charged with three counts of assault.
He was later kicked out of the University of Nebraska team after a fight erupted in the locker room.
When he transferred to the University of Oregon, he failed to make it on their football team because he failed to complete an anger-management course and adhere to a strict code of conduct.
During a Rams-Titans game, he got into a heated argument with coach Steve Spagnuolo.
Many sports media outlets cite him as one of the dirtiest players in professional football.
ESPN reported that hours after he was suspended, Martin received racially abusive text messages going as far as threatening to kill Martin.

Why he might not be annoying:

In high school, he earned First-team All-State honors on offense from the 'Arizona Republic.'
In 2002, he was named as part of the 'Sporting News' Freshman All-American honorary roster.
He supports Operation Homefront, an organization that provides assistance to families of service members and wounded soldiers.
He was one of 66 players who took part in the NFL Business Management and Entrepreneurial Program held at Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
The Incognito-Martin incident reignited calls for changes of the 'tough guy' culture of the NFL.
