    He played on four different teams in the final three years of his career.
    His offensive production dried up considerably during his final season, which was split between the Panthers and Canucks.
    He established himself as a mainstay in the NHL upon his trade to the North Stars.
    He was a member of the North Stars team that made a surprise run to the Stanley Cup Finals (1991).
    He served as an alternate captain for both the Stars and Flames franchises.
    He started up a business that specializes in building customized backyard hockey rinks, following his retirement from hockey.
    He was able to coach his son, Sam, while the latter was a member of the OHL's London Knights.
