His last name sounds like 'greasy.'
He was considered as the 'thinking man's quarterback.'
He only threw 20 more touchdowns than interceptions in his career.
Although he lead the Dolphins to their only two Super Bowls, most Dolphin fans prefer the Dan Marino-era Dolphins.

Unlike Dan Marino, he had a running game to compliment the throwing game.
He is the only quarterback in NFL history to lead his team to an undefeated season.
He retired from football before becoming a mediocre quarterback.
He's became a widower and a single father after his wife, Judi, succumbed to cancer in early 1988.
