Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He spent his first NHL six seasons on a moribound Capitals team.
He struggled with injuries and to adapt to the pace of the NHL in his first couple seasons.
He is known more for being part of the Rod Langway trade, than for being a first overall pick.
He played on three different teams in the last three years of his career.
His tenure with the Islanders lasted four games, as a result of a broken foot, which essentially ended his playing career.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the second player in a three year span to be selected first overall by the Capitals during the 1970's.
He, along with Ryan Walter were solid contributors for the Canadiens, which in turn made the Langway trade a good one for both clubs in the long-term.
He was the last player, before Langway to wear #5 for the Capitals.
He was a member of the Canadiens Stanley Cup championship team (1986).
Despite not being a superstar player in light of his draft billong, he was regarded as a solid defender in both Washington and Montreal.
