The Resume

    (October 30, 1973- )
Born in New York City, New York
White House correspondent for The New York Times
    Political analyst for CNN
Contributor for The New York Post, New York Daily News, and Politico

Why she might be annoying:

She feuded with Nate Silver and Joe Scarborough.
She has been accused of using questionable 'unnamed sources' to allege often outlandish charges about the Trump administration.
As a high-profile PR specialist, her mother (ironically) did work for Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani.
During an appearance on the 'Fourth Estate' docuseries, she was overheard reassuring her kids 'You can't die in your nightmares.'
She turned up in a WikiLeaks dump during the 2016 election, which appeared to show the Clinton campaign using her to plant sympathetic stories in Politico ('We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed').
The revelation may have led President Trump to respond to articles by her criticizing him with insults ranging from 'drugged up loser' to 'Hillary flunky' and 'third rate reporter' (although in fairness, he probably would have said it anyway).

Why she might not be annoying:

As a 3rd grader, she played the title role of Annie in her school's musical.
She was one of the first reporters to break the news that Michael Cohen might strike a plea deal with the FBI (at the time, Trump attacked her for saying it).
Her reporting on the Trump administration earned her a Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting.
She was honored with an Aldo Beckman Memorial Award from the White House Correspondents' Association.
She received a Front Page Award for Journalist of the Year from the Newswomen's Club of New York.
She critiqued Michael Wolff's 'Fire and Fury' book, claiming that it contained false statements and calling it 'light in fact-checking and copy editing.'
Her investigative 'truth-to-power' scoops for the NYT have been praised, even as the newspaper itself has suffered from numerous credibility issues.
She criticized Sarah Palin, Ted Nugent, and Kid Rock for posing mockingly in front of Hillary Clinton's portrait during their visit to the White House, tweeting 'doesn't matter what the political party is, it's the White House, not a rally, and it's an official portrait, not a cardboard cutout.'
