Why he might be annoying
American music fans are oblivious to the fact he originally recorded the song 'Gloria.'
Other then 'Gloria', his other works aren't well known outside of Europe.
He went on hiatus from the music industry for the first half of the 1980's.
He looks like professional wrestler Val Venis.
His version of 'Gloria' was originally about a fantasy woman, but was changed to a song about a woman going too far ahead of herself when Laura Branigan recorded it.
Why he might not be annoying
He wrote and recorded songs in different languages.
He recorded duets with Laura Branigan after the latter discovered his original recordings.
His song 'Gloria' (albeit the Laura Branigan version) received renewed popularity when the St. Louis Blues used it as their rally song during the 2018-19 season.
He joined 'Off Sound' at the age of 16, which performed in small clubs around his hometown of Turin.
He writes most of his own songs.
