    He reportedly got his nickname from his inability to pronounce the word 'milk' as a child.
    He had a low on-base percentage for a lead-off hitter.
    After suffering an eye injury in spring training (1986), he had trouble judging fly balls the rest of his career.
    He is both uncle and stepfather to Preston Wilson.

    He and his wife started an educational center for girls.
