His name is hard to spell.
He was denied acceptance into film school three times.
Just about everyone pronounces his name incorrectly - it is pronounced 'ke-ZHLOV-ske.'
He smoked profusely.
He is sometimes credited as 'Krzysztof Kieolowski.'
His film 'The Double Life of Veronique' was remade into an idiotic American film with Demi Moore called 'Passion of Mind.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He was an intellectual.
He disliked politics.
He introduced the French beauty Irène Jacob to American audiences.
His films are thought-provoking, beautiful to look at, and critically acclaimed.
The 'Three Colors' trilogy is highly influential, and is studied in film classes around the world.
