Why he might be annoying:

While in WCW, he was in a boy band-type group called 3 Count.
His act in the WWE is of a nerdy super hero who idolizes the Green Lantern.
His wrestling character wears braces.
He sells expensive things related to his wrestling character on his web site.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is childhood friends with fellow WWE superstar Matt Hardy and former WWE superstar Jeff Hardy.
He is considered one of the best young talents ever in the WWE.
Before each match, he puts a plastic mask over his original mask and gives the plastic mask to a kid in the crowd.
He had a short but memorable feud with The Rock, which lead to a match that gave him his first major victory.
Since then, he has been given many main-event spots, even though he is not as big as some other main-eventers.
He said one of the major highlights of his life was seeing himself as an action figure.
